I saw someone get shot yesterday. It was jarring, but like any good blogger, I whipped out my iPhone and started taking pictures. (The man will be fine, btw.)
I tried to e-mail the best one to photos to a couple of news sites using the iPhone. After I found their e-mail (hard-to-find) addresses, I clicked on them and up popped the iPhone's e-mail client.
THE iPHONE E-MAIL CLIENT HAS NO ATTACH BUTTON (at this time - July 2012).
You have 2 options to add a photo to an e-mail.
OPTION #1 --
Click on the Camera icon.
Find the photo you want to send on the Camera Roll.
Hit the little "arrow in a box" icon at the bottom of the screen.
Click [E-mail Photo].
OPTION #2 --
Click on the Camera icon.
Find the photo you want to send on the Camera Roll.
Press and hold down on the photo for 2 seconds.
Up pops a [Copy] button. Tap it.
Hit the return to desktop button on your iPhone.
Click on the Mail Icon.
Tap the little [pencil in a box] icon in the bottom right corner.
There are three fields -- To:, Cc/Bcc:, and Subject:.
Below that is a blank spot for the body section of the e-mail.
Press and hold 2 seconds in that body section.
A menu will pop up with the option to [Paste]. Tap it.
From this point, just tap in the e-mail address, a subject, and your message above or below the photo, and you are good to go.
